What Happens in Singapore on October 27

COL Group, VIRTUE Asia, and V47 Entertainment have launched Inside Microdramas, which they bill as the first upfront event dedicated to microdramas and the wider vertical entertainment business. The event takes place in Singapore on October 27, 2026 and is aimed at decision-makers from brands, advertising, entertainment, technology, production, and platforms.

The centerpiece is a first look at the 2027 slate. About 10 creator-led projects from COL and V47 will be shown to prospective brand partners for potential development and production. Greenlight Sessions will then let invited marketers discuss commissions, financing, distribution, and co-development directly with project teams.

Why This Is More Than an Industry Conference

Traditional upfronts sell advertisers around programming that a network has already commissioned. Inside Microdramas moves brands earlier: before projects are fully financed or produced. That creates a marketplace where a marketer can help shape an original property instead of purchasing only media placement after the story exists.

The distinction matters for funding. Brand capital can lower development risk, while creators gain distribution and commercial partners at the concept stage. The organizers are also framing the opportunity beyond scripted microdrama, including creator formats, reality, factual programming, interactive stories, commerce, and branded intellectual property designed for phone viewing.

COL Connects the Upfront to FlareFlow's Expansion

COL Group brings a direct platform and distribution angle through products including the FlareFlow vertical drama app. VIRTUE Asia contributes brand strategy, while V47—formed by VIRTUE Asia and Goldfinch International—focuses on developing and commercializing brand-enabled entertainment IP across Asia.

The immediate opportunity is a pipeline, not a finished catalog. ReelPulse will update this page after October 27 with the announced project titles, participating brands, production status, and distribution commitments. Until then, the only confirmed slate detail is approximately 10 projects available for possible brand-backed development and production.
